Sound Barriers provides all of the hardware, HDPE puckboard facing, top sill, kick plate, and colour matched fasteners that you require for a complete installation.

Sound Barriers also offers a variety of finish products for your change rooms and pool areas. Washroom stalls, privacy screens, vanities, Kemlite Glasbord® shower wall covering, floors, lockers, and benches are some examples of the many available.

COMPLETE DASHER SYSTEMS

Sound Barriers built-on-site dasher systems are steel post on anchor plate construction with either wood or steel stringers and aluminum gates and removable sections covered with HDPE puckboard. Top sill and kick plate are available in a variety of colours. Arena shielding is available in tempered glass or acrylic with aluminum supports and gasket. Optional items include player/penalty box bottle shelf, benches, timer table, and safety netting. Sound Barriers will work with you to provide design options to fit your budget and facility requirements.

PARTIAL DASHER SYSTEMS

Sound Barriers dasher systems can be modified to integrate into your existing dashers should you only need to replace specific areas. Aluminum gates and removable sections are custom manufactured to fit existing openings, or can be sized to meet your requirements.

PREFABRICATED DASHER SYSTEMS

Sound Barriers prefabricated dasher systems are steel or aluminum construction.

Top sill and kick plate are available in a variety of colours. Arena shielding is available in tempered glass or acrylic with aluminum supports and gasket. Optional items include player/penalty box bottle shelf, benches, timer table, and safety netting.

HARDWARE, PUCKBOARD, GLASS, NETTING

Many types of hardware are available to suit your requirements such as gate latches, ice side release latches, gate keepers, pin and piano hinges, heavy duty adjustable machine gate hinges, closure bars, and castors.

HDPE puckboard is available in thickness from .220" to 1" and in the following colours: white, yellow, gold, red, dark blue, and light blue. Colour matched fasteners are available to fasten to either wood or metal.

Tempered glass or acrylic shielding is available in ½" or 5/8" thickness and heights from 3’ to 8’. Custom heights, speakholes, and camera holes are also available. Aluminum shield supports and gaskets are available for all applications. Bumper pads are available for termination or 90 degree corner locations.

Protective netting is available in white or black nylon, or monofilament mesh custom manufactured to fit your requirements. Our specialized installation techniques provide a tight and flat finish, minimizing visual obstruction.

FINISH PRODUCTS

Sound Barriers provides vandal resistant solid plastic washroom partitions, privacy screens, and vanities that are easy to maintain and rust proof. These products stand up to extremely high traffic conditions such as ice arenas and community centres.

HDPE puckboard is available in thickness from .220" to 1" and in the following colours: white, yellow, gold, red, dark blue, and light blue. Colour matched fasteners are available to fasten to either wood or metal.

Solid plastic lockers do not dent, rust, or corrode and will stand up to harsh cleaners used in public facilities. Lockers are available in any number of banks and tiers to fit the configuration that you require. Various locking options are available.

Kemlite Glasbord® panels and Sani-Grid® ceilings are moisture resistant and easy to keep clean. Kemlite Glasbord® panels are impact resistant and never need painting. Suspended Sani-Grid ceiling systems do not corrode, and prevent humidity transfer above the ceiling from shower areas. Polyurethane flooring can be installed in shower areas to provide wear resistance and a non-slip surface.
